Laurel & Hardy - 'Another Fine Mess'
Size: 78 x 72cm
Inspired by my husband's love for this pair. Worked in black and white. I have digitised photos into stitches and arranged them collage style, interspersed with film titles. The corner blocks I design from a picture in a library book.
Although a smaller quilt, this piece comprises almost one million stitches.

Lesley won a first prize at the Great Northern Quilt Show in Harrogate in 2007 with her
Laurel and Hardy wallhanging. This quilt will be featured in the Patchwork and Quilting Magazine in 2008.

Size 94 x 66cm approx
Swan Lake is my latest wall hanging.
Each swan is individually cut, stitched and painted.
The piece is heavily quilted.
From conception to completion the hanging has taken approx 3 months.
